The biggest HR event of the year? Join OKbase at HRko in Ostrava

On October 17, the 7th annual HRko conference will take place in Ostrava. This year, the event will host 1000+ attendees, and OKsystem will be there, too.

 In our dedicated OKbase room, we have lined up five inspiring talks filled with practical tips to enhance your HR processes. Get ready for a day packed with inspiration.

#NotAConferenceWeAreAnHRParty. That's right—HRko 2024 offers a rich program that will guide you through the latest trends and innovations in HR in a fun and engaging way. Across three stages and six "HR rooms", you’ll hear case studies, best-practice experiences, and possibly even some failure stories. Don’t miss the popular HR solutions festival, excellent catering, exciting side events, and ample networking opportunities. The event kicks off on the evening of October 16th with a "Beforeparty," a great chance to make valuable connections ahead of the main event.

HRko program available online and in the mobile app

For several months now, HRko has been introducing the speakers who will take the stage or lead sessions in various rooms. Follow their program updates on their website or via Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn as it continues to fill out. You can purchase tickets at an early-bird price of CZK 5,555 (excl. VAT) until the end of September. Please note that access to the Beforeparty requires a separate ticket. OKbase HR solutions festival & OKbase room

Traditionally, HRko brings together all the key players in HR solutions, tools, and applications in the Czech market. These companies have their booths at the HR solutions festival, named after OKbase. However, you won't find our booth there—look for us in a larger space in one of the HR rooms at 2nd floor. You’re welcome to stop by throughout the day, refresh yourself with some chilled Prosecco, enjoy a coffee, or chat with our colleagues.

OKbase Room Program at HRko 2024:

• 07:45 – Start your day with a morning coffee in the OKbase room. Good morning!

• 08:50 – Opening session on the main stage on the 3rd floor (You probably don’t want to miss this show, but feel free to stay with us—someone will record it, after all…)

• 09:00 – The OKbase room welcomes you throughout the day with gifts, bubbles, and smiles.

• 09:30 – Talk: Digitizing everything from onboarding to payroll with OKbase

  • Jiří Szewieczek, head of the OKlab team at OKsystem, will kick off our sessions focused on digitalization, explaining how OKbase can streamline your HR processes, saving you time and reducing administrative tasks.
  • Key areas we will cover:
    • User forms (UFO): Employee communication, change requests, approval processes—all online, no paperwork.
    • Electronic communication with the Czech Social Security Administration (ČSSZ): Directly sending documents (enrollment, termination, etc.) to the ČSSZ Portal.
    • New employee onboarding: Quick and easy setup of new employees, including electronic communication and consent collection.
    • Electronic signature: Digitalizing employment documents, generating, sending for signature, and tracking directly in OKbase.
    • Communication with bailiffs and the Labor Office: Efficient processing of cooperation requests and income verification.

• 10:30 – Case study: HR process digitalization at Rohlik.cz

  • Simona Sochorová, HR director, and Lenka Hodačová, Payroll specialist from Rohlik.cz, will share how they successfully digitalized their HR processes with OKbase, achieving greater efficiency and automation in their HR and payroll operations.

• 11:30 – Talk: Attendance & Shift planning with OKbase

  • Before lunch, join Lukáš Kříha, Lead Consultant for the OKbase attendance module, as he discusses how OKbase can effectively plan and track attendance and shifts. This session is perfect for companies looking to optimize their work scheduling and shift planning. We’re really good at this.

• 13:00 – Practical insights: Why Rohlik.cz loves OKbase

  • Simona Sochorová and Lenka Hodačová return with another inspiring session, this time focusing on specific tips and tricks to maximize the use of OKbase in HR and payroll. This workshop is for anyone who wants practical advice directly from those who use OKbase every day.

• 14:00 – The benefits of integrating payroll outsourcing with OKbase

  • To close the day, Ivana Hamplová, head of payroll outsourcing at OKsystem, will outline the advantages of having your payroll calculated in OKbase, whether by us or your external provider. There are plenty of benefits, so if you’re considering payroll outsourcing or already use it, don’t miss this comprehensive talk full of practical tips and insights.

• 15:00 - 17:00 – Networking
